Spring Cleaning = Cash!

Although our current weather in Minnesota would have you believe winter just started, Spring is actually going to arrive eventually! Once the snow is gone and the first greenery of the season becomes visible, our thoughts will leave winter far behind. Spring fever will be upon us, and Spring cleaning goes hand-in-hand with this fresh new beginning.

The Tools of Winter

When we think of tools, drills and sockets and hammers and saws usually come to mind. But tools encompass much more than the machineries we use to fix or build things. All manner of specialized implements fall into this category, including lawn maintenance equipment and snow removal apparatus.

Be Prepared for Whatever Winter has in Store

Minnesota winters can be unpredictable, to say the least. They might creep up on us slowly, or they might start with a blizzard. There may be short-lived periods of temperate weather, only to be followed on by a stretch of sub-zero conditions. This led to the eventual commercial introduction of the purpose-built car radio in the 1930s, and automotive stereo systems have continued to evolve in complexity and performance ever since.

Getting Personal, Electronically Speaking

In 1978, Sony released a portable audio cassette player named the Walkman, which forever changed music listening habits by allowing people to bring music with them and listen to it through lightweight headphones.  By the late 1990s, the cassette-based Walkman started being phased out in favor of emerging digital technologies such as CD, Digital Audio Tape and MiniDisc. Evolution eventually brought us to the age of the iPod, a line of portable media players and multi-purpose pocket computers designed and marketed by Apple Inc. The first of these was released on October 23, 2001, and the rest is history.
