It’s that time – your high school graduate is getting ready for college. College dorm rooms are small. Whether they are basic or deluxe – they are small as compared with just about any other manner of dwelling. Many schools provide a checklist of things that can and cannot be brought into the dorm, along with acceptable sizes, voltage requirements and other specific details. With space being at a premium, the 65 inch family TV and home theater are definitely not going along for the ride! Items such as laptops, tablets, PCs, video game systems, small TVs or monitors, chairs, mini refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers and personal electronics are the most common things that students will bring along on their college journey. Beds, desks and some type of wardrobe storage are generally provided by default.
